Walgreen's Today

Not my best deal ever, but stuff we needed. I missed a double deal on Softsoap handsoap by a day, but I still got some good buys and saved $42 in coupons today.

Transaction #1 = $4.71 (also used $4.50 in old RR and earned $2)

Listerine Smart Rinse Mouthwash on sale 2/$7 and I had $1 off each and earned $2 in RR.

4 Softsoaps...I had $.35 off, and Walgreens had $2 off each one ($2.99 a piece).

Transaction #2 = $24 (used $2 in RR from above and earned $3 more)

Arm and Hammer Laundry soap (have to use on my diapers) $3.99

Bounty Paper towels on sale for .79 and I had .25 cents off each one.

Quilted Northern on sale for $4 and I had $1 off.

Sunsilk on sale...buy 2 get one free, and I used a B1G1 free coupon, so I paid for 1.

I bought bandaids and neosporin to get $3 in RR. This was pricey at 3.99 for each bandaid and 4.99 for the neosporin but I did have .50 off all of those, and who doesn't need these (we had no bandaids in the house!!!)

Bodywash on sale for 3.99 and had 1.00 off at Walgreens and 1.50 off from the paper.

Today

Used my last free bakery coupons, as well as some wipes and cheese coupons at Food Lion. I got 4 six packs of bagels, 2 bags of shredded cheese, 2 travel packs of baby wipes, and a cantelope for $4!!!

Then I went to Walgreens. They have a deal where you buy something from group A, and something in group B and you get group B's price back in register rewards. I bought a 36 ct box of Tampax for 6.99, then a 20 pack for 3.49. Somehow, it gave me $4.50 back in rewards instead, woo hoo! I also got 2 Palmolives (on sale and I had a coupon) and shaving cream for Ryan. My total was $14, I paid with $6 in previous RR's, paid $7 on my debit card, then got $4.50 back.

So overall that was 2 boxes of tampons, 2 dish soaps, and a shaving cream for $4. Not shabby!

Walgreens Today

I spent $4.

The envelopes are on sale 3/$1 which I use a lot to mail pics to family. The gummies (Ryan's favorite) are $1.29 each with a $1 off coupon.

The razors are $7.99 each, on sale for $6.99 this week. There is a $2 off coupon from Walgreens, a $2 off coupon from the paper, and a BOGO in the paper. So that ended up being $2 for 2 packs. Pretty good I think!

Kroger

I love that they double all coupons .50 and under. Here is what I got for $9!

Cottonelle TP was .99, I had .25 off and they doubled it = .50!

Paper towles on sale $1.50, I had 1 off = .50!

Excederin 1.99 and I had 2 off = FREE

Excederin 1.99 and I had 2 off = FREE

Cover Girl Foundation and Powder (Buy a foundation get one free and $1 off). Total was 4.64 and 7.99, but got both for 3.64!!!! I had to argue this one because it did not say free product had to be equal or lesser value.

Quaker Granolas on sale 2/$5 and I had two $1 coupons = $3 for 2 boxes

Spray and Wash on sale for $2.19, I had .50 cents off which doubled = $1.19

Bananas = 1.24

Target Soda Deal

If you drink a lot of soda, check out this Target deal on Pepsi til 4/19.

Buy 5 packs for $15, get a $5 gift card to Target. There is a Target coupon online for $1 off two packs.

I bought 10 packs, got $5.00 off in coupons, and paid $25. Then I got $10 in gift cards, which I used off some things I needed at Target, so that stuff was free!

Oh, also, if you use a Target coupon, you can use a manufacturer coupon too. So Colgate Total was on sale for 2.09, and I had 1 off from Target, and 1 off from Colgate, so .09!!!!!!!! I also did good deals that way for cereal and waffles.

Walgreens Steal

All this for $6! I used some register rewards I had earned previously, but I'm still excited because that was free money to spend. A $15 Starbucks card was well worth it!

For those who don't know, many drugstores offer rebate and special cash back of your next order. At Walgreens there is an Easy Saver book at the front of the store where you earn rebates through the mail. You get 10% more back if you put it on a gift card to Walgreens. Each week in the ad there are also things you can buy that print out Register Rewards which are coupons off your next order (free money to spend there).

Today I bought a Suave Shampoo and Conditioner, as well as 2 Degree Deoderants. These were buy one get one half off, and I also had $1.00 off coupons for both products. Buying those earned me $6 in register rewards, and I only paid $4 for them, so techincally I made $2 bucks overall.

Then I bought 4 tomato sauces (on sale .29 each), a dawn dish soap (on sale .99), two bags of gummies (had a $1 off), a $15 Starbucks gift card. I used $13 that I had in Register Rewards so I only paid $2 for those items!

Start checking out the deals in the ad at the catalog next time you are there!
